Hospitalists work
fourteen 12-hour shifts
per month. Shifts can
vary from month to
month, but all efforts
are applied to meet the
scheduling needs of all
staff Hospitalists.
The Hospitalists are
Board-certified Internal
Medicine physicians who
also have an option to
work in the ICU. (Rare
exceptions may be made
for exceptional

Hospitalist experience

At present, each
Hospitalist sees
approximately 15
patients per day. As the
Hospitalist team grows,
