Core Responsibilities:

* Introduction of new parts, projects into manufacturing using PRI-022, development of tooling and manufacturing concepts for complex parts, time standards, and preparation of drawings, planning documents, NC programs, process specifications and technical proposals with minimum supervision.
* Maintain project plan, project team, leading other individuals and teams toward the achievement of goals.
* Maintain process ownership, evaluate process capabilities (CPK), and participate in standardization of engineering and manufacturing activities.
* Prepares quotations as assigned.
* Participate in Kaizen events, builds tools (sharpens saw) for solving both engineering and manufacturing tasks.
* Assignments vary between production program support, planning, tool design, CAD/CAM definition, research and development, and other activities.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Three to five years engineering experience, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
* Working knowledge of Unigraphics or 3D CAD/CAM system.
* Understanding of machine tool design and construction.
* Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required.
* Candidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.

Education Requirements:

* BS or BA in Engineering or related academic curriculum. Masters Degree preferred.

* Analyze customer engineering drawings and documentation for materials, process and quality elements.
* Create part geometry and detailed operation sheets to support each operation; Create, update and maintain operation sequence sheets for either new orders, or in support process improvements.

•Recommend and implement improvements to work methods and procedures.
•Pursue continuous improvement opportunities to create the most efficient work flow through the facility.

3. Optimize sales force productivity within the target markets through both direct and indirect contact, including distribution of market and technical information. Develop high level selling contacts. Establish relationships with key customers.
4. Develop and implement a sales plan to identify high potential OEM opportunities and work jointly with regional salespeople to assure growth in our OEM sector.

Requirements:

Education: BS Degree in Engineering/marketing (MBA preferred).
Skills, Technical Knowledge/ Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years experience in sales, including extensive customer sales, forecasting and sales plan development / implementation along with consulting experience. Excellent written and oral communication / presentations skills. High level technical skills (mechanical, electrical) and ability to interface with customers and engineers on a highly complex level.
